Crosschain DAO

Step 1: Connect your Metamask wallet

An instance of the "Crosschain DAO" smart contract has been deployed on Flare's Coston testnet. A Metamask wallet is required to interact with the smart contract.

If you do not have any CFLR you can get it on the public coston faucet.

Step 2: Create a proposal (DAO manager)

Here, an example proposal is created to send 1 CFLR to a Coston2 address. For example, a DAO member could propose to send 1 FLR to a freelancer who did some work for the DAO.

Default signers (provided by demo)

Three signers are provided to make this demo more convenient to use. Input is keccak256 hash of address, example: 0xHASH1,0xHASH2,...

Default signer's chain IDs (provided by demo)

Listed chain IDs correspond to signer's chains, listed respectfully (Bitcoin=0, XRP=3,...)

Consensus threshold

How many signers (out of all) are required to execute the proposal. Don't exceed the total number of signers!

You will be required to send a testnet transaction

Your signer's address (will be keccak256 hashed)

Provide as many addresses as you want. Input as: ADDR1,ADDR2,...

Your signer's chain IDs

List in the same order as addresses, make sure both lists are the same length! (Bitcoin=0, XRP=3,...)

We provide a very small hardcoded default value so that our contract doesn't run out of funds.

Step 3: Sign the proposal on external chains (DAO user)

To be accepted, the proposal signatures need to match the consensus threshold. We now wait for the signers on different chains (BTC, XRP) to sign the proposal.

Step 4: Request attestation for external XRP signature (DAO user)

Request attestation on StateConnector smart contract

Step 5: Relay XRP signature to Flare smart contract (DAO user)

Sign the propsal using merkle proof from attestation provider

Step 6: Execute the proposal (DAO manager)

A proposal needs its consensus threshold to be fulfilled. In this step we will execute the proposal by submitting the signatures to the "Crosschain DAO" smart contract.

You must create a proposal first
